If you ever paddled in France and wondered how to interpret the tides shown in the local Tide Tables. They are shown by a number varying from number 20 to 120; a coefficient, which is a simple way of indicating the tide.
In the example tide table shown the biggest Spring tides on
21-23rd August are Coefficients of 108, 111 & 107. The smallest Neaps on 29 & 30th.
